A large variety of structural typologies of reinforced and prestressed concrete structures for tall office buildings, condominium and/or hotel buildings, and steel, aluminum and glass decks for large commercial areas were design by the Firm. Well-known international computer programs oriented to structural design are used to permit a fluid interchange of data with other Firms in various parts of the World. The Firm familiarity with local and/or international regulations permits the solution of structural problems for applications in many parts of the world.
We perform project feasibility studies, solve soil analysis problems, seism and wind risks, analyze existing structures, materials, construction, etc.
Our staff have professional engineers specialized in structural inspection during the construction phase of the works. The Firm conducts periodical work site controls to check all constructive procedures and compliance with the project documentation. Existing structures are also inspected to determine their condition and load-bearing capacity.
The presence of our professionals in the inspection of structures during construction, ensures proper execution of fieldwork. We regularly check works construction procedures and verifying coincidence with the project documentation.
We enjoy a special vocation for the preservation of historical buildings and their structures. We are proud of our participation in the rehabilitation of important structures, contributing to their recuperation as cultural patrimony through the application of modern research and repair techniques.
We have participated in the study of various structural problems, providing solutions and repairs in each case according to the use and constructive possibilities.
We took part in wind tunnel tests for various building structures. Tower buildings were tested in Cermak, Peterka, Petersen CPP, Fort Collins, Colorado, USA and a soccer stadium at the Northwestern University, Chaco, Argentina. Using the test results, comfort analysis studies were made for tower type buildings.
We believe that the review of our works constitutes an important quality control phase, and therefore we submit the most important projects to peer review by other firms with international experience. On the other hand and in view of our experience, we have been commissioned to conduct peer reviews for other engineering firms.
The use of several finite-element structural-modeling programs allows us to analyze a number of structures: flat and space frames, post-tensioned concrete structures, silos, stressed structures, etc. We are licensed to use some of the better-known software trademarks in the field such as Robot, Cedrus, Cype, Tricalc, AVwin. Our CAD documentation is produced using Autocad and Intellicad tools.
